Company

Laura Barbieri

Laura Barbieri began her dance training at MVMT Dance Center, where she studied a variety of dance styles throughout her youth. She recently earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education with a PreK-12 Education concentration from Montclair State University. During her time at MSU, Laura performed works by renowned choreographers including Maleek Washington, Michelle Manzanales, Gaspard Louis, Stefanie Batten Bland, Maxine Steinman, Meredith Rainey, Jessica DiMauro Marks, and Donna Scro Samori. To further her training, Laura attended Ballet Hispánico's ChoreoLab Intensive and the Limón Dance Intensive, both on talent-based scholarships, as well as Kizuna Dance's Open Intensive for multiple years. She has extensive teaching experience in creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, acro and hip hop for all ages and continues to develop her choreographic voice.

Heidi Berry

Heidi Berry (Hagerstown, MD) began training at age seven and continued her studies at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. She graduated from Montclair State University, with a BFA in Dance.

During her time at Montclair, she has had the privilege to perform works by Stefanie Batten Bland, Omar Román de Jesús, Maleek Washington, Christian von Howard, Maxine Steinman, and Jessie DiMauro Marks. She is also a company member and rehearsal assistant for Third Gravity Dance Company. She strives to bring sincerity and emotional clarity to her performances, prioritizing connection to the movement, the space, and the audience.

Evan Harris

Evan Harris (Columbus GA) is a modern dancer, who recently graduated from Montclair State University this past May with his BFA in dance. He previously attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for his last two years of high school. While at MSU, Evan has performed works by Kyle Abraham, Maleek Washington, Stefanie Batten Bland, and Bradley Shelver, among others. He recently attended Springboard Danse this past summer where he performed works by Hassan Piker, and Attic Projects by Luke Murphy. He has participated in intensives with companies including A.I.M. by Kyle Abraham, Doug Varone, and Limón.

Isabella Merola

Isabella Merola (Monroe, New Jersey) graduated from Montclair State University with a BFA in Dance in 2026. She previously attended Middlesex County Magnet School as a dance major. While at MSU, Isabella performed works by Camille A. Brown, Kyle Abraham, Maleek Washington, Stefanie Batten Bland, and Bradley Shelver, among others. She has also trained at summer intensives with Medhi Walerski at Orsolina 28, Whim W'Him, GALLIM, Doug Varone and Dancers, and Earl Mosley's Institute of the Arts. As a freelance dancer she has also performed at events such as the Bessie Awards, DUMBO Dance Festival, ACDA, Montclair Dance Festival, NYU Choreolab, Koresh Artists Showcase, Hoboken Dance Festival, and River Dance Festival.

Nessa Martinez

Vanessa "Nessa" Martinez is a recent graduate of Montclair State University holding a BFA Dance. Growing up, she trained at For Dancers Only NJ and frequently took classes in NYC.

Martinez has performed at venues including The Prudential Center, NJPAC, OSPAC, Nimbus Arts Center, and more. She has worked with and performed works by Ronald K. Brown, Cat Cogliandro, Elisabetta Spuria, Stefanie Batten-Bland, Maleek Washington, & Stephanie Martinez, among others. As a choreographer, Nessa has presented her works at numerous Montclair State Showcases, where she was awarded the Choreographic Excellence Award. She has danced with KM Dance Collective and Opus//the Company, and has worked with Capezio Dancewear as a Capezio Athlete/Model.
