ARTISTIC DIRECTION / PROCESS

Direction shaped with the people in the room.

Estefanía leads Third Gravity Dance Company's artistic direction, choreography, movement research, and development of the work with curiosity, together with the people in the room. Our participating artists are encouraged to contribute, challenge one another, and discover movement that feels intricate, unexpected, unique, and outside the box.

INFLUENCE / PROCESS

A precise body.
An open process.

Estefanía's creative process draws inspiration from a wide range of artistic disciplines. Alongside contemporary dance and ballet, she is influenced by painting, graphic design, architecture, fashion, music, and the ways different forms of art shape our perception of movement, space, color, light, rhythm, and atmosphere. Artists such as Monet and Van Gogh are among many references that inform her curiosity, not as formulas for what a work should become, but as starting points for asking new questions in the studio.

Rather than searching for a single aesthetic or method, she embraces collaboration, experimentation, and the unexpected, allowing each creation to evolve through the unique voices, experiences, and ideas present in the space.
